Support Staff
Each season Hornsby Seniors get to host nine rounds of Rugby at the beautiful Waitara Oval. It takes a dedicated and organised team to setup the Oval at the start of the day, staff the canteeen and BBQ throughout the day as well as manage team kit, run the Touch Line and maintain the Scoreboard across 5 matches. Hornsby are looking for motivated volunteers who are interested in developing new skills or just helping out across the season. Hornsby will assist support staff in uplifting their knowledge or gaining qualifications via participation in appropriate courses run by NSWRU or other organisations throughout the year.

Touch Judges : Qualified assistant referees who get the best view of the game as they run the line during home & away games.

Ball Boys\Girls : Vigilant and quick helpers close to the action as they collect stray balls during home games

Score Board Attendants : Vigilant and quick helpers to ensure the electronic scoreboard is kept up to date during home games

Canteen Volunteers : Setup, staff and cleanup canteen during nine home games each year

Groundsmen : Setup and Clearup Oval during nine home games each year |
Photographers : Take photographs of home and away games and Yearly Team Photos

Reporters : Write Up match reports and articles of home and away games

Webmasters : Website developers who can maintain and enhance Hornsby's Offical Website
