**************************** 4TH GRADE REPORT **************************** Submitted by Ian Crothers Hornsby 14 – St Ives 10 Given almost the entire squad had played 2 games the day before, it was going to take a super effort to grab a third successive win. It ended up being ‘nail biter’ – made a bit closer than it needed to be by a disallowed try late in the game that even surprised the St Ives players, not to mention the Home crowd! Nonetheless, another really solid team performance which sees us move from 8th to 5th on the ladder in the space of a week. We are now within striking distance of a semi final spot – but we have a very hard run home having to still play the top 3 teams, so an even greater effort will now be required over these remaining 5 games. Tries – both our tries today were scored by Lilo who had a great game at 12 Points – Mark Jones 3, Trent 2 and Wayde 1 **************************** As a footnote to this weekend’s double-header, it should not go unmentioned that almost all of the 4 grade squad played 4 games in 2 days (some, like Marksie, and Owen played more!) A super human effort guys – well done! ****************************
