Hornsby 25 – Blue Mountains 10

Just what we needed – another bonus point win following on 
from the one Vs Oatley the week before. We started really 
positively but it seemed to take an age to finally covert 
field position to points, which we did via a try from Wiggsi 
about 15 minutes into the first half. We then seemed to lose 
a little focus/intensity and we went to the break only 5 – 3 
in front.  However a really strong second half performance 
saw us win that period 3 tries to 1, sealing the 25 – 10 
victory. This was a good team performance and nice to see the 
team regain some form after a couple of disappointing starts 
a few weeks ago.
 

Tries – Wiggsi, Owen, Feleti and Jacko Simon all 1 each.

 
Points – Ant Wourtez 3, Mark Jones 2, Wiggsi 1 and John 1 
(for helping us out by stepping in as Hooker – a position 
he had not played before.)
